Christopher Holland
Christopher was born around 1776 in Norfolk, England.
Son of Francis Holland. Married Mary Burhart. Died 1826 in New Hampshire.
He served for many years in the British Army as Sergeant-Major of the Fourth Battalion. After retiring from the service
he emigrated to America, prior to the War of 1812. Christopher settled on one hundred and thirty-five acres on the disputed
territory north of New Hampshire, which he afterward learned was to be part of Canada. He lived on this place until his death.
He left a widow and three children.
